Curious Ferret Branding
Branding for Curious Ferret Web Application company. Bringing forward the idea of a very curious ferret!

We have been working with Curious Ferret providing the design and User Experience for their first Web Application, Overture. After completion of our first project together we required a logo that supported the brand identity.
With a name like Curious Ferret you have a perfect idea already, we just had to bring that idea to life. With the help of Adam Oehlers (my sketching is pretty poor, and Adam is amazing) we sketched three initial ideas and when happy, we took the sketch and turned it into a vector.
Adding further to the sketch with colourful clothing and a beautiful top hat, we certainly ended up with a Ferret that looks curious or is it a curious looking ferret, either way we were all pleased with the result.
With some snazzy typography using Aphrodite Pro, using some of the excellent ligatures available and Minion Pro set in small caps we had the all round classy yet quirky look we required.
We are looking forward to working more with Curious Ferret in the future on more web apps and a full site design for their marketing pages and their blog.
