CMS for Kwiqq
A fully featured Content management system designed to be one of the first integrated with social features.
Responsibilities: Project vision, Information architecture, user interface design, visual styling, CSS/HTML, Javascript
As part of the Kwiqq open product I designed a fully featured CMS to work alongside the front end of our white label social network. The CMS also had to be powerful enough to allow the construction of any of our projects and to be the first CMS designed for the ZEND framework.
I structured the CMS so that everything was a module, this would allow users to easily understand how to create a web page they desired. If they wanted to add content of any kind such as, a menu, articles, users, static text, lists, media or even social content such as profiles, forums and groups, this would all be added through the modules section. This structure made it easier for users to understand the layout of a web site.
Any social features were then added into a moderation feed so that the admins of social content could easily moderate user generated content.
